Grown in Trás-os-Montes, northeastern Portugal. Chestnut Flour is a top gluten-free option that is popular in Tuscan cuisine and can be used as a replacement for wheat flour. 

It can be used in both sweet and savoury bakes and gives a nutty, earthy flavour. 

The flour is made by processing dry, roasted chestnuts into fine flour. The Romans used chestnut flour to make pasta.
